SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Forever 24 Jordan L. Mathews Memorial Foundation invites the community to “The Ride for Jordan” Car Show on Saturday, July 27, at the Donald Comer, Jr. Softball Complex in Sylacauga.

The event will begin with The Ride for Jordan at 9:00 a.m., followed by the car show at 11:00 a.m.

Enthusiasts of vehicles such as Camaros, Chargers, and Mustangs are encouraged to join.

Jordan Mathews, born July 31, 1998, was known for his passion for baseball and his resilient spirit despite chronic asthma.

He tragically passed away on Aug. 23, 2019, from an acute asthma attack, but his legacy continues through organ donation and the foundation established in his honor. The foundation supports educational scholarships, asthma camps, baseball clubs, and offers solace to grieving families.
