Dr. Todd Freeman, Superintendent of Sylacauga City Schools, released the following message this afternoon: “Sylacauga High School held classes on a normal schedule today. The school day went without disruption. As I stated yesterday, the school system will continue with added security measures on campus including assistance from the Sylacauga Police Department. “I am continuing to investigate the incident that occurred on the high school campus on Monday and will follow the appropriate process for any disciplinary action that is warranted based on my findings. “My expectations remain high that every student act in an appropriate and respectful manner throughout the school day and at school events.”
