City issues notice to residents to be affected by street paving

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – On Tuesday, residents living nearby selected roads to be paved in Sylacauga were officially notified.

Mayor Jim Heigl addressed the page-long letter to citizens indicating the city’s infrastructure will be changing over the next several months beginning in May.

The letter requests any planned utility or driveway access improvements be completed by May. Additionally, if there is any damage caused after the resurfacing, costs will be charged to the responsible property owner.
