The Feral Dogs of Avondale Mills celebrates one year anniversary with benefit concert

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Feral Dogs of Avondale Mills is hosting Woof Fest, its one year anniversary celebration, tomorrow afternoon, June 16.

Amber Jean, singer and songwriter from Sylacauga, will be holding a benefit concert for the Feral Dogs of Avondale Mills Woof Fest. Jean is a supporter of the Sylacauga Animal Shelter by fostering and adopting in the past.

“We are so excited Amber is giving her time and talents for our event,” said Sonja Chandler, a Feral Dogs of Avondale Mills Board Member.

Food will be available to purchase from Good Ole Boys and Whisker’s Catfish. Vendors will also be on site with items to purchase. There will also be a 50/50 draw down. Elsa will be at the event as a special guest appearance.

The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. and go until 7:00 p.m. at Central Park across from Blue Bell. Admission is $5, and kids under 12 can enter for free.
