SYLACAUGA, Ala. – T.J. Maxx will have its grand opening and ribbon cutting on Sunday, March 18 starting at 8:00 a.m.
The national retail chain began its hiring process in February where it saw a massive turnout of those willing to work at the store.
Doors will open at 8 a.m. on Sunday where local shoppers can celebrate our newest location on March 18 starting at 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and experience the thrill of off-price shopping. Reusable bags will be given to the first 500 customers.
At the ribbon cutting, T.J. Maxx has announced it will make a $10,000 donation to the Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement. The new store will also join all other stores nationwide in sponsoring Save the Children’s U.S. Programs. T.J.Maxx also supports Save the Children, Autism Speaks, and Joslin Diabetes Center with annual in-store fundraising campaigns.
City officials and Chamber of Commerce members are invited inside T.J. Maxx at 7:30 to watch the retail giant present its $10,000 check to SAFE.
At 8:00 a.m. the crowd will move outside and have the ribbon cutting. There will be refreshments and prizes for those in attendance at the Ribbon Cutting. The Chamber of Commerce hopes everyone will join them as we celebrate the first store opening at Marble City Square.
