Rockford SpringFest looking for vendors

SHARE NOW

ROCKFORD, Ala. – The Town of Rockford is making big plans for their SpringFest 2018 including the “Spring Forward 5K Run” and “Bunny Run,” the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Cake Hop, and more.

The event is on Saturday, April 14, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Rockford is seeking area churches, organizations, businesses, and individuals to commit to running a game booth in the Event Center for SpringFest. The games could be anything from a ring-toss to a go-fishing game, and should be decorated with an Easter/Spring theme. If you are unable to provide a game, but still want to participate, contact Kris Rambo at the Town Hall. The town may have a game you can operate (first come, first serve). You would, however, still be responsible for providing the prizes for your game.

All proceeds from the 5K and Bunny Run will go to COACH. The Town of Rockford realizes this event is after Easter, but Easter comes early this year. Because of the unpredictability of the weather in March, they are combining the Easter Egg Hunt with the SpringFest activities. The Easter Egg Hunt is sponsored by the Rockford Public Library.

There will be concessions, crafts, and Sno-Biz. Admission is $1 for ages 12 and up.

If you would like to participate in this day of family fun, contact the Rockford Town Clerk for a vendor form and email it back in. Email the town clerk at [email protected]You can call (256) 377-4911 if you have any questions.
