SYLACAUGA, Ala. – RadioAlabama is growing. In August, the Sylacauga-based media organization hired its newest account executive Chris McLaren.
McLaren graduated from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN with a Bachelor’s of Science in Science. While at Christian Brothers, he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Upon graduation, he pursued a career with his financial background working at Sterne Agee, Region’s Bank, and First Tennessee Bank.”
“The aspect of sales and the competition has always intrigued me,” said McLaren. “The idea of being able to develop a relationship with somebody, find out what they are trying to achieve, and help them find a solution to obtain/achieve those goals as business or financial, is truly a special process.”
McLaren’s most recent experience in advertising sales comes from the Yellow Pages.
“His dynamic, encouraging, and engaging personality with clients is something we were attracted to from the start,” said Executive Vice President Michael Brannon. “Chris is a great fit and we are absolutely thrilled to have him on our team. He will be doing some really big things in the near future with RadioAlabama.”
“Life has a mysterious way of working,” said McLaren. “When I saw the commitment, excitement, and the plans that RadioAlabama has [in place], I knew instantly I wanted to be apart of this special group and help them achieve their goals. I could not be more excited to be apart of this process and looking forward to developing those relationships with the people of Sylacauga and East Central Alabama.”
