SYLACAUGA, Ala. – RadioAlabama‘s radio signals, which reaches into parts of more than 20 counties across East Central Alabama, will broadcast not just one but two high school football games of the week starting August 25. In addition, the radio station network will begin broadcasting a new East Central Alabama High School Football Coaches Show on Yea!106.5 and WYEA!1290.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our high school football coverage,” said Michael Brannon, Executive VP, Managing Editor of SylacaugaNews.com, and Director of Business & Digital Strategy. “Covering more games on more stations is a testament to our growth, involvement, and engagement. Coming from a sports background, I’m committed to the schools, students, parents, sponsors, and quality broadcasts each game week, and that vision is shared from the top down throughout our company.”

The Shop-N-FiLL Sylacauga High School Football Game of the Week will air on Yea!106.5 & WYEA!1290, and the East Central Alabama High School Football Game of the Week will air on 98.3 Fox FM. All games will be available on the stations’ mobile apps (available free in Apple’s App Store and Google Play) and on the station’s streams at WYEA.net and WFXO.fm.

Every Thursday night starting August 24 at 6:00 p.m., the new East Central Alabama High School Football Coaches Show will air live from Pizza & Pint in downtown Sylacauga. Hosts will be long-time RadioAlabama sports play-by-play announcer David McCurley and Jeremy Law, host of college football’s The Breakdown on 105.1 WRFS and play-by-play announcer for Sylacauga High School football.
