SYLACAUGA, Ala. – 124 N. Broadway has not seen as much attention in the last 20 years than it did on Thursday evening. Marble City Media, the parent company of SylacaugaNews.com, Yea!106.5, WYEA!1290, 98.3 Fox FM, 105.1 WRFS – The Lake, 96.3 & 1050 LMA – Real Country, held its first open house event for area business owners and local leaders.

The invitation-only event showcased SylacaugaNews.com and all six radio brands run out of the Marble City.

“We were excited to have been joined by so many Sylacauga area business owners and leaders to talk about the significant investments we are making in developing on-air, online, and mobile products and services,” said owner and managing member Lee Perryman.

More than 50 people attended including representatives of the Sylacauga and Greater Coosa Valley Chambers of Commerce.

“With our four radio brands through six radio stations in East Central Alabama, plus SylacaugaNews.com, we are more committed than ever to the communities we are licensed and privileged to serve — and to helping drive success for local businesses,” said Perryman.

“Our goal is to reach everyone with our multiple brands,” said managing editor of SylacaugaNews.com and director of business development Michael Brannon. “We have compiled several passionate individuals that make up one amazing team. Together, we are truly seeing we can accomplish whatever we dream. Tonight was a cornerstone of one dream: educating Sylacauga about our local news media and entertainment outlets.”

The radio stations cover East Central like no other entity in the area. From Birmingham to outside Auburn and 30 miles south past Montgomery, multiple signals penetrate markets outside the immediate Sylacauga area allowing advertisers to jump on board.

“Local businesses want to advertise with us,” said Brannon. “Members of our sales team pride themselves on customer satisfaction and genuinely want to help grow business in the area. The fact that we have the ability to reach so many, and provide results, makes it a no-brainer for advertisers to work with us.”
