TALLADEGA, Ala. – MainStreet Family Urgent Care has now opened its newest location.
The clinic is officially ready to see patients at their Talladega location on East Battle St. in Talladega. Surrounded by elected officials, community members, and clinic staff, Mayor Jerald Cooper cut the ribbon in front of the MainStreet doors on Monday.
“We were so overwhelmed with such a warm and kind reception at our ribbon cutting today,” said Betsy Stewart, Director of Marketing for MainStreet Family Urgent Care. “We feel so blessed to be a part of this community and can’t wait to bring convenient, fast, and friendly urgent care services to the Talladega citizens.”
Stewart lead the visitors on a tour of the clinic that began in the MainStreet waiting room where patients are offered complimentary drinks and snacks. Visitors then continued the tour of the clinic that features four exam rooms, a procedure room, a small lab, an occupational medicine room, a DOT-compliant bathroom, and a digital X-ray.
MainStreet Family Urgent Care is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.; Saturday, 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 1:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
MainStreet Family Urgent Care will hold its Grand Opening Community Fair on Saturday, Aug. 19, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., and everyone in the community is invited to attend.
“For our grand opening event, we aim to incorporate the small businesses of Talladega. We will use this opportunity to showcase what the wonderful community of Talladega has to offer,” Gallahar added. “Many local businesses such as Shabby Sheek Boutique and Central Alabama Community College will be available to discuss their services with the residents of Talladega. We will also have inflatables, Dr. Wags, and lots of fun for the entire family.”
The Talladega location is the 10th MainStreet Family Urgent Care site. Others nearby are in Sylacauga, Alexander City, and, soon, Pelham.
