Area Real Estate taking donations for Jacksonville community

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Area Real Estate in Sylacauga announced on Tuesday in a Facebook post they will be taking donations for the Jacksonville community after the the area was hit by tornadoes late Monday night.

The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce shared Area Real Estate’s post on Facebook about those affected by Monday’s storms in Jacksonville. To show love and support from everyone in Sylacauga, they are taking donations for flashlights, batteries, work gloves, trash bags, paper towels, and cleaning supplies.

All donations can be dropped off at Area Real Estate, 1102 West Fort Williams Street, Sylacauga Al. The donations will be delivered Wednesday, Thursday, and over the weekend. Items can be dropped off Wednesday, until 5:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

The Jacksonville area will be opened to volunteers Friday. Area Real Estate has copies of the volunteer registration form and waiver if you would like to volunteer in addition to donating needed supplies.
