SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Talladega County Schools System has announced all of its schools will close early due to the threat of severe weather.

The school system announced on Facebook Monday morning its schools will close at noon.

An enhanced risk of tennis ball size hail along with an enhanced risk of strong tornadoes are in the forecast according to the National Weather Service. The NWS is predicting severe weather between 2 p.m. on Monday – 2 a.m. on Tuesday.
